Just like everything else we do, our Shabbat offerings have a Chico-style casualness led by students for students with the main focus centering around socializing with friends! Join us for our bi-weekly Shabbat celebrations when school is in session. We like to mix it up so check out our calendar for more information. 

Each Shabbat that we host invites a unique Shabbat dinner themes coinciding with the Jewish calendar as well as classic American traditions like delicious Bar-B-Q's. It is important that our Hillel hosts such traditional events with a twist driven by students, sometimes we even offer a pre-Shabbat experience from 12-3pm to accommodate student's schedules. Our group prides itself on creating opportunities to experience community and togetherness surrounding food and customs. We offer Shabbat dinners to our students and welcome them to bring their friends to share in the most significant cornerstone of Judaism, the mitzvah of Shabbat.
