Sending a child to college can be a big transition for the whole family. Also for the parents, it can be anxiety-inducing to go from being the caregiver of their child for 18 years to instantly losing daily access and contact. We know because we have been in the business of supporting the transition of our students on Chico’s campus for decades. 

We make the transition easier by being a welcoming presence on campus, creating an instant community where all students can find a sense of belonging. Unlike other student organizations, we also place heavy emphasis on one-on-one coaching for our students, so they instantly find an adult role model and/or peer connections.

Our team will deliver a bountiful welcome basket with a few local gift cards to bring a friend downtown for a treat after checking out our welcoming space in between campus and downtown Chico.
